He rolls in the mud to look like a pig and swims in the pond to look like a duck, but the farmer isn’t fooled. The other animals tell the turkey to run so he hides behind a tree. The farmer can’t find him and the farmer’s family ends up eating grilled cheese sandwiches for Thanksgiving. But then the family heads outside to cut down their Christmas tree and they find turkey hiding behind the tree. Turkey’s on the run again!

A book features some fun moments like Dad tripping when he’s carrying the turkey. It ends with the sweet message of the family being thankful for being together.

The book includes a page to write down your child’s thankful thoughts each year.
