The Wide-Mouthed Frog (By Keith Faulkner) – This is a funny pop-up book about a curious wide-mouthed frog who hops around asking what a bird, a mouse and an alligator like to eat. But when the alligator replies that he likes to eat delicious wide-mouthed frogs, the little frog has to think fast. He puckers up his lips to disguise his wide mouth and jumps into the pond to escape. Parents can read this book with different voices for each character to make it even more fun. My 5-year-old daughter has loved this book since she was one-year-old. She loves the illustrations and how the pop-up alligator and frog seem to leap off the pages.
