Purplicious (By Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann) – This is the story of a girl who loves the color pink. She has pink clothes, pink toys and loves to paint with the color pink. But one day, the other girls at school tell her that all the girls like the color black now and pink is out. They tease her for liking pink and eventually she gives up her favorite color. She feels all alone until she notices a girl in art class who says she needs some pink paint for her picture. She blends the pink with blue to make purple – or as the girls call it “purplicious.”
