Ferdinand (By Munro Leaf) – Ferdinand is not like all the other bulls. While they jump and butt their heads together, Ferdinand likes to sit quietly under a tree and smell the flowers. One day some men come to decide which bulls will fight in the bull fights in Madrid. While they are watching, Ferdinand is stung by a bee and begins to jump and snort. The men mistakenly think he is fierce and pick Ferdinand for the fight. But when Ferdinand gets into the ring, he just sits quietly and smells the flowers. They send him back home to sit under his favorite tree.
