Duck for Turkey Day (By Jacqueline Jules) – A young girl named Tuyet, whose family is Vietnamese, would like to have turkey for Thanksgiving just like everyone else. But her family always eats duck for Thanksgiving. When Tuyet returns to school after the holiday, she is worried about what her teacher and classmates will think. But as her classmates talk about their Thanksgiving dinners of enchiladas, lamb and roast beef, Tuyet realizes the most important part of the holiday isn’t what you eat; it’s being with your family.
